Nineteen Seventy Three started at the kitchen table of husband and wife James and Emma Emmerson in 2003. The company is a result of their desire to produce products that were different from their competitors, products that took inspiration from contemporary art, fashion and design. What sets them apart from their competitors is their approach to printing and the materials they use.
Being eco-friendly is of the upmost importance as is getting all products made and printed in the U.K. Nearly all products are made from recycled paper or from sustainable forests. They also use biodegradable cello bags and acid free inks.
